About Us

JPS PVT ITI was founded in 2016 in its present form from the NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training), which is the apex body underMunistry of |skill Development, Govt of India. JPS ITI is currently Punjab’s Biggest ITI with larger lecture rooms and Practical workshops.

The Institute has been entrusted with the responsibility of imparting vocational training in 14 courses in Engineering and non-engineering trades under craftsman training scheme & Applied training scheme to cater the need of the industry in respect of skilled workers.

MISSION

To achieve the vision of the state, it is envisioned to:

• Create need based human resource skill pool in the state.
• Make every willing and able person in the State employable or employed.
• Keep close Linkage with Industrial Organizations for continual improvement in skill development & placement activities.
• Create awareness & easy Access to training schemes & related services to the trainees/citizens.
• Achieve the State & National targets for skilling, up skilling & re skilling of the persons in the state.
• Provide placement through gainful employment/wages to the skilled manpower of the state.
• To improve quality of Industrial Training by investing in infrastructure and faculty, promoting academic reforms and improving governance of the institutes.
